WE BELIEVE:
The Bible That the Holy Bible and its Scriptures is the
inspired, inerrant, infallible, living and abiding word of God without error in
the original writings, revealing the character, will and mind of God, disclosing
His plans for the universe and man, and the divine and final authority for all
Christian faith and life.
God, the Father
That there is one God who is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent; the Creator,
the sustainer of the universe, who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son
and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this
earth as Savior of the world.
Jesus Christ, the Son
That Jesus, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of
the virgin Mary, died on the cross and shed His blood making the complete and
final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. We believe that
salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross.
Further, that He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the
right hand of the Father, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
Baptism
That water baptism, soon after accepting Christ as personal
Savior, is a testimony of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and is a symbol of
the cleansing power of the blood.
Holy Communion
That in the regular partaking of Communion Sacraments is an act of remembering
the death of the Lord Jesus Christ what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.
Further, all true believers and only believers should share in it.
Salvation That the blood that Jesus Christ shed and His
resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who
believe, and every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by
obeying Gods Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the
image of Christ.
Eternal
Life
That as children of God, there will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead,
and God intends for each of us to experience the abundant, everlasting life He
has in store for us, and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious
punishment.
